The cave
When we decided to create 1783, we had no idea that the Dimora concealed a tiny treasure … an old cistern.
Stripped completely of the concrete facing, the original stone resurfaced. The result is a reddish stone cave, which we immediately thought could become a nook for relaxing in peace and quiet. A corner out of time.

The terraces
The Dimora’s pride and joy, three terraces on three different levels that gift a breathtaking view of the Itria Valley, of the old town’s typical cummerse, and the dome of the Mother Church soaring right opposite 1783.
A place to relax for a few minutes in the cool morning air or with a glass of good wine at sunset, looking from the heart of Locorotondo to the trulli and their conical roofs dotted across the valley, from Ceglie Messapica to Martina Franca.
